Could You "Dance In The Rain"

Well life is tough. Can't deny it. All the phase we are going through from childhood till parenting there's lot of up and down. Some say it like a theater where we are the actor.Whatever it is we must have faith in life.Through this parenting phase i must admit lots of great bachelor activities had to be given away.Sometimes i do miss it all. Hang around for hours with friends playing my old guitar.I am not saying when we become parents we can't do it anymore but there's a border line.Whatever it is just believe that what you done today is for good  deed. Not saying to be perfect but for the sake of our  heir, our legacy that is our future.
There it looks like a theater isn't it. The plot is there and you follow it.Well it's not basically through. the different is we have option here. And whatever option you made is to make it suite for your life and your family.
Here's a story from my colleague about dance in the rain. It make me stop moaning about everything and start to thinking about option.Hope the story can help you all a bit.A story about gratitude and make you think should we dance in the rain.

"The date was July 16, 2008. It was late in the afternoon and I was sitting in my hotel room in Louisville, Kentucky. I was scheduled to speak that evening for the Kentucky Association of School Administrators (KASA).
I was a little "down in the dumps." I hadn't gotten to exercise lately because of my traveling schedule and recently I'd experienced some mild bouts of vertigo (that inner ear condition that can cause the room to start spinning.) You got it...speaking and "spinning" are not good partners!
My keynote presentation was scheduled for 7:00 PM, but I had been invited to show up at 6:00 to see a performance they said I'd enjoy. Little did I know that I was about to see something I would never forget.
They introduced the young musician. Welcome...Mr. Patrick Henry Hughes. He was rolled onto the stage in his wheelchair, and began to play the piano. His fingers danced across the keys as he made beautiful music.
He then began to sing as he played, and it was even more beautiful. For some reason, however, I knew that I was seeing something special. There was this aura about him that I really can't explain and the smile...his smile was magic!
About ten minutes into Patrick's performance, someone came on the stage and said..."I'd like to share a 7-minute video titled, The Patrick Henry Hughes story." And the lights went dim.
Patrick Henry Hughes was born with no eyes, and a tightening of the joints which left him crippled for life. However, as a child, he was fitted with artificial eyes and placed in a wheelchair. Before his first birthday, he discovered the piano. His mom said, "I could hit any note on the piano, and within one or two tries, he'd get it." By his second birthday, he was playing requests (You Are My Sunshine, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star). His father was ecstatic. "We might not play baseball, but we can play music together."
Today, Patrick is a junior at the University of Louisville. His father attends classes with him and he's made nearly all A's, with the exception of 3 B's He's also a part of the 214 member marching band. You read it right...the marching band! He's a blind, wheelchair-bound trumpet player; and he and his father do it together. They attend all the band practices and the half-time performance in front of thousands. His father rolls and rotates his son around the field to the cheers of Patrick's fans. In order to attend Patrick's classes and every band practice, his father works the graveyard shift at UPS. Patrick said..."My dad's my hero."
But even more than his unbelievable musical talent, it was Patrick's "attitude of gratitude" that touched my soul. On stage, between songs, he would talk to the audience about his life and about how blessed he was. He said, "God made me blind and unable to walk. BIG DEAL! He gave me the ability...the musical gifts I have...the great opportunity to meet new people."
When his performance was over, Patrick and his father were on the stage together. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered for over five minutes. It gave me giant goose bumps!
My life was ready to meet Patrick Henry Hughes. I needed a hero, and I found one for the ages. If I live to be a hundred, I'll never forget that night, that smile, that music, but most importantly, that wonderful "attitude of gratitude."
I returned to Chicago and shared Patrick's story with my wife, my friends, and our team at Simple Truths. About two weeks later, I received a letter from a friend. He said, "Mac, I don't know who said it, but I think you'll love this quote."

"Life is not about waiting for the storms to pass...
it's about learning how to dance in the rain!"

I thought...that's it! We all face adversity in our life. However, it's not the adversity, but how we react to it that will determine the joy and happiness in our life. During tough times, do we spend too much time feeling sorry for ourselves, or, can we, with gratitude...learn how to dance in the rain?
It almost sounds too simple to feel important, but one word...gratitude, can change your attitude, thus, your life, forever. Sarah Breathnack said it best...
"When we choose not to focus on what is missing from our lives but are grateful for the abundance that's present.......we experience heaven on earth."

Wow what a story.Stop feeling sorry for ourselves.Gratitude that's the words. there must always be something we can do sometimes not for ourselves but maybe sometimes for others.

Confinement Day On Giving Birth

Confinement time after giving birth. Well i believed it is a must to all mother to go through with it
after giving birth. according to the older as been going through generation this is when nerve and all parts
of women bodies involved on going through birth process being relieve and cure. The confinement day took 44 days in process.
During this time what every movement or diet will  be observe. The abstention in diet and also in term of feeling. A women going through this process
can't be stressing out. This is the post natal treatment they have to go through.
this is the day, yes as a father you'll will heard lot of moaning from the lady. So be patient and do what best as you can.Thing to moaning is about their diet. Most of the food is only things that been braise. Not something that's been cook with oil.
This confinement state sure is different between races. In our Malay community there where lot to follow such as eating 'Jamu' (herbs for health)
to reconstruct the human body change. Yes women are afraid of fat after giving birth. For the mother whose breastfeeding, they should be careful on taking the jamu
or eating something as this will effect diet of the baby.
Taking essence or eating 'Haruan Fish" is said can help healing internal wound faster. Not all type of fish can be eaten as it been said to be danger to the healing wound.
So main dish would be usually "parang fish" or Selar fish".  I wonder why some of the community or even in a hospital they will
white meat such as chicken. In our abstention chain of food chicken is not permitted. So mainly the main recipe is masak "singgang"

One more this is wearing the binder ( bengkong ) by the mother. This said to be shaping back their body and to make sure no air getting into your nerve.Well this air
to be exact i can't imagine how and what form can it be taken inside our body. What i know is gas inside nerve due to gastric process. well we can't imagine it forms but the effect sure is apparent such as
getting dizzy and weak.A baby also will be bind to prevent this.

I wonder what would it be like for other races. Is the abstention of foods and
other things the same.

My first daughter been having this asthma problem since birth. Its been told it was inherited. So many thing that me and my wife done to make her in stay in good health. After several occasion it's been known that flu derive her asthma problem. Every time when she got a flu it will lead to her asthma problem. Not only we have to get her taking the nebuliser every 4 hours sometimes warded for extra attention.
During childhood her asthma attack happen nearly once every two month. We were so scared when ever she start getting cold and flu.Even can't sleep during nights seeing either she's in good condition. She start taking puff as suggested by the doctor. From our observation through her daily life her asthma only happen when she got flu.
there's no allergic to food or anything. So we started to prevent her from getting flu.
Then one day a friend of my wife suggested this virgin coconut oil to be taken as health supplementary. So we give it a try.Thank to god it really worked for her. Now when she's having a cold or flu it seldom initiate her asthma. But it's not severe as before.
This virgin coconut oil extracted using an enzyme fermentation process from fresh organic coconuts. No chemical or high heat treatment is used to retain the original properties, distinct scent and taste of coconuts.

Next to mother's milk, Orifera Virgin Coconut Oil contains more than 50% Lauric acid which is formed into monolaurin in the human or animal body.

One of the benefit to strengthen body  immune system to prevent from flu.

I am not try to sell or promote this product but as an information provider i would like to share on my experience after using this product. I am not saying that it is 100% effective to all astmathic patience but it is worth it to try out.
My conclusion are we have to observe on what derive the asthma attack. If it is due to flu and cold prevent from having it.
